We are porous polymers research group at Yalova University. Our research is focused on the design, synthesis and characterization of hierarchical macro-, meso- and microporous polymers. We investigate the relationship between structure and properties. In addition to experimental approaches we are also using statistical analysis in our studies. We study the improvement of mechanical and thermal properties. Our recent research has focused on developing emulsion templated porous polymer composites and nanocomposites for application in areas including photocatalyses, adsorption and energy.
Moreover, our research studies also focuses on Pickering-emulsions, multiple emulsions, emulsion and suspension polymerizations and polyurethane dispersions.
